During my down time in-between project contracts, I enrolled to do an introductory pottery course at Atelier Forma. I was introduced to different types of clay, and tried them out on the wheel. Different clay works differently on the hands, and some type of glazing don't work well on certain clay. Each clay has its own characteristic and physical properties. The first step to learn pottery is to learn about the clay itself.
